Ring Rats Anonymous: UCW-Zero Live TV Taping @ UCW Arena 12.15

Action Sports

The continuing development between Jayson Bravo and Zach James just gets hotter. In fact, the tension was so hot, I ended up scrawling out my own sign (wrestling’s tried n’ true alternative to Twitter) to show my brand loyalties. Ultimately, it was a great match, one in which James’ athleticism shouldn’t go unmentioned … but Bravo’s just got too much of a hook in him at this point, and even though Sierra Rose isn’t taking any of the bully’s advances seriously, James’ pride has probably taken a serious beating over the months.

The final event, a six-man tag team match saw The Foundation (with Slick as their third man) going up against the 801 District, plus the newly minted Jason Jaxon. From start to finish, it was a sweaty, raging affair, with Jaxon screaming himself hoarse at the ref, and Stevie Slick’s silken, red trunks gleaming ’neath the ring lights. It took virtually no time at all for full-on bedlam to erupt, and it wasn’t until M.K. intervened that things got even remotely contained.

There’s hurt feelings in the UCW-Zero camp, and the subtle whiffs of change have erupted into a full-blown aroma, sweeter than a bowl of steamed crawdaddys. Don’t forget the next event, the Seasons Beatings TV Taping, Saturday Dec. 28 at the UCW Arena (47 S. Orange St.). It will feature a meet n’ greet with two ECW legends (Raven and Justin Credible) and a stacked card throughout. Oh, and between you and me (and the commissioner) I’m sure we’ll get to see these old vets take the slimy foundation stable down a few notches! Check the site for event happenings, follow UCW-Zero on Facebook and Twitter and subscribe to their YouTube channel. Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, and above all else, remember that nothing happens till the bad guy shows up. Stay heel!
