I must admit that at first I was skeptical about this game. In general I consider computer card games something only to be resorted to if you find yourself stuck at a PC without the internet or even MS Pinball. Welcome to solitaire city, population you. Well forget about that, not only is Stacked fun and engaging but it’s as close as you can get to being in a real casino without having to inhale the cheap perfume and beer breath at the tables.I was surprised to see that the entire game is very nicely 3D rendered. The default point of view is made to look like the camera views from the hold ’em tournaments on television, but you can switch to a ‘first person’ point of view as well. The characters are well illustrated and have more personality than most of the real people I’ve been stuck with at tables. The voice acting is very well done, however not much effort was spent synching the voices up to the character’s mouths on screen. Stacked represents the next generation of video card games with its improved A.I. and well executed look. This is also a great tool for helping players of almost any level improve their game. Stacked offers players the opportunity to play online in the Stacked environment to compete against friends or whomever in tournaments or one on one. I don’t have the money or time to move to Vegas to become a professional poker player, but now I don’t need to, I can just serve myself some watered down cocktails and play Stacked! -Jesse Kennedy
