On Saturday, March 27 the Queens Cup took over the Pick n’ Shovel Park at Park City Mountain Resort for the fifth year in a row. This year’s all-female ski and snow slope style competition attracted 29 ladies to ride with the pros. Competitors were divided into eight teams, allowing amateurs to ride with the big dogs in the game, who act as the team coach. This year Megan Gunning, Becca Babicz, Ashley Battersby, Anna Segal, Mads Baker, Roz Groenewoud, Dania Assaly served as team coaches for the skiers and Erika Vikander as the coach for the ladies snowboard team. The teams each got two runs to prove their worth and were scored first individually and then as an entity. The lady with the top score of the day walked away with a cash prize and each member of the top team of the day walked away with product.
