Horsefingers 2: But I am the Tiger (World Premiere)
Slamdance FIlm Festival
Director: Kirsten Kearse
Kirsten Kearse directed and starred in this interesting fable about the “modern woman” and the trials she encounters on a daily basis—literally. The story begins and ends at the same point suggesting the cyclical nature of the modern working person’s day. The horsefingers mentioned are actually horsehands—“fingers” sounds more eloquent, I suppose. Heloise Williams’ score was very appropriate for the piece and really adds a nice touch to the otherwise silent film. Enjoy this short for its engaging imagery and a tale told utilizing great sets, transitions and editing.
