How was their stage presence?
The Blank Tapes stage presence is best compared to the Muppets band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, except Animal would be playing the tambourine. They’re a fun loving group with the “common guys, we can do things as long as we are true to our hearts” type of progressive hipster attitude.

Give a musical equation that describes the band’s sound.
The Blank Tapes = Spell Talk + CCR + A dash of folk

if you had to murder one band member, who?
The male tambourine player would be the obvious choice. All the band member did was play pure tambourine the whole set.

if you could insert any other musician into the band, who would it be?

Stephen Stills would be inserted into the band! Only to boost up the wow factor and give yourself something to think about when you get bored by the third song, such as, “Why is a fifty year old man playing with twentysomething kids?”

if you could see this band perform with any other musical group, who would it be?
I would like to see The Blank Tapes play with Spell Talk  for the sole purpose of the two being a match made in heaven—although you could through a dead cat in any direction and most likely hit a band much like those two.
