Dacho = The Super Twins
I have much love for Dacho. Chief and Doc are probably the two nicest, most chill individuals you will ever meet. This seven-song album marks a proper studio release from the band and, although the production quality lacks a little, the two wonder twins straight-up do work on the music on this album. The musicianship here is exceptional. Chief has bass overdrive tone that reminds me of recent Les Claypool bass tones while his voice is a mix between Tom Waits and Jesus Christ himself. Doc drops the beat in her own virtuosic way. This band’s soul-flavored funk blues dominate my life. Dacho is a good time all around. Get into their music as soon as you get a chance. It’s pimp.
