Die High Hell Ride is an action-packed hour that will knock your socks off. I had the privilege of hosting the premiere for the fifth DVD being released from Sk801 at my house, and shit got messy. One-hundred people crammed into my backyard in the pouring rain to watch this well versed group of shredders throw their boards down and handle business. The list of skaters in this video is so long. If you know someone in Salt Lake City or the surrounding area and they can kill it, then you will likely find them in this video. Some of the skaters who I felt did an outstanding job included Christian Bourne, Holland Redd, Colin Brophy, Caleb Orton and Tyson Bowerbank. Caleb knocked out a BS lipslide on the rail on 500 S. and 300 W., and Tyson’s 540 down that stair set is still pretty wild. The video was filmed and edited by Colton Ericksen, Mack Scharff and Kyle Wilcox. They did a great job of figuring out how to manage so many different shots of so many talented individuals. The video has a very dazed and confused, trippy feel to it. It leaves you feeling like you've been dosed sitting on your couch, melting away and wanting more. If you haven’t seen it yet, run to your closest skate shop and buy one. If you can’t do that, tie yourself over with the teaser here on YouTube!
