This album is fun! If you’ve ever wondered what electronic music in Peru sounds like, this compilation is your ticket. With sounds ranging from Latin (“Deltatron” – Ego Trip) to Caribbean (“Tribillin Sound” – El Carmin, and “Rolovo” – Outropical), this album gives a taste of a different culture in a beautiful way. Surprisingly, the sounds don’t stray far from what we’re used to hearing in the USA, but still have a signature Peruvian twist (I can assume). The album also offers a wide range of electronic sounds from funk and house music to chiptune and synthpop. If anything, I can at least boast that I listen to Peruvian dance music in my free time, or at least have. –Julia Sachs
