Line of Sight Alleycat and Premiere

An alleycat preceded the Salt Lake screening of Lucas Brunelle's Line of Sight, Presented by Velo CIty Bags, Cycling Utah, SLUG Magazine, Salty Spokes and Saturday Cycles, and hosted by Point Six Productions. Proceeds benefitted the Salt Lake Bicycle Collective.

Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Aug. 2-Aug. 5, outdoor enthusiasts from across the country descended on Salt Lake City for the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. Companies as well known as North Face and Marmot shared space with smaller, start-up companies. Outdoor junkies pedaled their goods and networked with eachother during the four day event.

Summer of Death at Crossroads Skatepark

Velo Weekend 06.29-06.30

Velo Weekend 2012 was a two day urban cycling event spanning over June 29-30 in Salt Lake City. The second annual event was organized by Velo City Bags and included Critical Mass, tall bike jousting, fixed-gear freestyle competition, sprints and more. The Garage on Beck Employee Benefit Show @ The Stateroom

 On Saturday, June 23, 2012 friends, family and supporters of the Garage on Beck went to The State Room for an employee fundraiser.  Thanks to Morgan Snow for gathering The Trappers, The Folkadots, Triggers and Slips, Candy's River House and Spell Talk, who played amazing sets to raise money for the Garage's employees. The friendly faces of Nate Sandberg and Mackie Ballard, who work at the Garage on Beck, were behind the bar pouring benefit attendees some tasty drinks. Photos: Jake Vivori 

Go Skate Day 2012

June 21 is Go Skate Day, encouraging kids to pick up a skateboard and go outside. Most skaters don't need a special day to skate––they skate every day. Nonetheless, it's a great excuse to get together with the homies and hit the streets. This year, there were a ton of Go Skate Day events all over the valley––these are just the few we made it to.
