Sasquatch 2011
This year Sasquatch celebrated its tenth anniversary over Memorial Day Weekend at The Gorge in Washington. Bands such as Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Major Lazer, Foster the People and Wilco rang out across the massive expanse of the Colombia River and drew 100,000 people over a 4 day period.
Epic is the only word to describe the experience.

Tuesday, May 31, Provo, UT. What do you get when you feel like hanging out in Provo on a Tuesday night? Usually not much, but sometimes things are different. The Deathstar, which is the newest venue in Provo, definitely offers something different for those who want to enjoy something other than family home evening. Tuesday night offered up six hardcore/straight edge bands: Feverdreams, Steadfast, Dead in the Dirt, Stick Together, Mother of Mercy and Foundation. Each band stuck to the hardcore and straight edge principles of fast tempo and ear drum blowing loudness, but also showed the Provo crowd what kind of variety can be heard within a single genre. Speaking of variety, who knew Provo had a stronger hardcore scene than SLC? Go see for yourself at The Deathstar, 145 N. University Ave.
