Skate Photo Feature: Colin Brophy

Colin Brophy—Backside Smith—Salt Lake City, Utah

It’s been over six years since I’ve shot photos with Colin Brophy. We met up on a Saturday without much of a plan and ended up at this spot on the east side of Downtown. The architecture, the typography and the sketchy double rail got me pretty excited to shoot here. After years of nobody touching this rail, Colin landed a frontside 5-0 and this backside Smith within a week of each other.
