Job Title: Event Beverage Controller

Overview:
The Event Beverage Coordinator will oversee the organization and distribution of beer and spirits for all vendor participants at the Brewstillery event.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee drop-off of product for all brewers & distillers at the event day-prior and day-of
-Organize & maintain inventory on site during the event
-Facilitate the proper completion of onsite paperwork for each brewery & distillery
-Oversee check-out of alcohol for the duration of the event for all vendors
-Manage small team of volunteers onsite
-Assist in monitoring the participants for DABS violations, addressing those violations with the participant(s) and escalating to senior staff as needed
-Transfer data from individual brewery/distillery paper forms to SLUG’s master alcohol inventory digital spreadsheet
-Complete post-event inventory
-Assist event team in inventory pick ups
-Assist event team in return of unused product to the DABS
Qualifications:
-Must have previous event experience
-Must be 21 years of age or older
-Exceptional organizational skills and self-discipline
-Desire to be involved in producing a fun and safe experience for exhibitors and patrons alike
-Honesty and ability to accept responsibility when mistakes are made
-Knows how to spell “team player” without an “I” or “me”
-Enthusiasm for collaborating or creating a project with complete execution, including refinement
-Ability to perform under stress; stress management skills
-Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs
-Food and Beverage experience preferred
Requirements:
-Must attend all staff planning meetings and trainings
-Must be able to commit to work Friday June 16 and Saturday June 17, 2023.
-Ability to work in-house at our offices, 5-8 hours per week for the 2 weeks leading to the event
-Ability to complete 10-20 hours post-event hours
-Must have own laptop, with willingness to use for Brewstillery-related tasks
-Must have own cell phone, with willingness to use for Brewstillery-related tasks
-Must have reliable transportation, with willingness to use for Brewstillery-related tasks
