Summer of Death is a skateboarding concert series produced by SLUG Mag. First held in Salt Lake City in 2000, Summer of Death has helped cultivate the talent of locals in the skateboard community including Holland Reed, Tyson Bowerbank, Oliver Buchannan, Lil’ Brandon, Lizard King and many other Utah favorites.
Summers in Utah are hot, and personally, I don’t like them very much. Finding the motivation to skate when it’s over 100 degrees outside is nearly impossible.
