EXHIBIT STATEMENT
In today’s world, the range of experience increasingly consists of confrontations with images. All around us, we encounter screens and pictures large and small. Digital technology is allowing for pictures to be turned into endless identical copies, untouchable and flickering in cyberspace. This year, students at Clayton Middle School have taken on the task of bringing images into the tangible world of objects, creating unique and physical works of art. On display you find a selection of pictures that connect our young artists with their life experiences—imagined and real.

Location: Main Library, Children’s Gallery
