Call for Entries: Biographies In Real Life

March 23 - April 29

The Salt Lake City Public Library will host ongoing Biographies IRL events at the Main Library. Seven people with unique stories will address small groups of 3–10 people in an intimate setting in which questions are encouraged, listening is a must, and stereotypes will be challenged. The event will take place over a three-hour period throughout the 1st and 2nd floors.

With these events we hope to give individuals with a unique experience a platform to be heard and provide a safe space where interested people can learn by listening and asking questions.

Do you or someone you know have a unique experience as a sexual minority, a black American, as someone experiencing addiction or homelessness? If you are comfortable with sharing your story in a setting like Biographies IRL, we would like to meet with you. Fill out this form and we will contact you shortly.
