Casino Night Fundraiser Hosted by Atheists Of Utah

March 24 @ 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM

$55

Feeling lucky? Atheists Of Utah is excited to announce our 2018 Casino Night Fundraiser! Take a chance, place your bets, throw the dice, and join us for an evening of great gaming action for an even greater cause!

The casino will feature Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, Roulette, Craps, and for those that don’t play the tables, Bingo. The more you play the bigger your chances are of winning one of the grand prizes! Don’t forget about the silent auction! We’ll have some great items available.

Light appetizers and dessert will be served, alongside a cash bar. Did we mention that your first two drinks are on us?

♠♥ Limited street parking available ♣♦ Please carpool or rideshare ♠♥ 21 and older event ♣♦ Valid ID required to enter ♠♥ Please drink responsibly ♣♦ Designate a driver or utilize Uber, Lyft, or a cab ♠♥

Is this legal?

THE ANSWER IS YES.

What makes it legal is that in spite of the appearance of a casino, there is no actual gambling going on. It’s all for fun and games. That is because a point system is used in the form of chips, that have no real monetary value. At the end of the night, you’re not winning money, but you have the opportunity to win prizes. Chips are just a system of keeping “points” so that you know who the big winners are at the end of the event. There are no losers.
