Calling all those that want to do something different and fun for the holidays! Join us for a fun and exciting copper Santa making workshop.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of copper bowl making, from shaping the metal to hammering and polishing it to a shine. You’ll also have the opportunity to get creative and design your own unique Santa.

We will provide all the necessary supplies, including copper sheets, tools, and instructions. No experience is necessary, so everyone is welcome.

Here’s what to expect:

We’ll start using hammers and shaping tools to create your Santa.
Once your Santa is shaped, we’ll use sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges
Then we will add texturing and defining lines so Santa looks like Santa
Finally, we’ll polish your bowl to a beautiful shine.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautiful and copper Santa that you can use for holidays for years to come.

You can register for the class at our shop or below online.  Private classes also available. Call/text 801-686-5351 for more information.

This class will be taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World.
