Jewelry Making Class
Join us for a evening of creating your own unique jewelry. You’ll learn the basics of jewelry making, including how to use different tools and materials, and how to create different types of jewelry, such as necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings.
All materials will be provided, so just bring yourself and your creativity. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, you’re sure to have a blast!
Class size s limited to 4 so there is ample 1 on 1 instruction. ALL skill levels are invited to class. Though the class is geared towards adults, mature teens and pre-teens are welcome to join as well.
This will only be offered in the evening during December. It is also offered every Wednesdays at 10am.
Class is taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation master silversmith. He was taught as a youth by his father and later took specialized classes. In addition to classes taught at The Local Artisan Collective, he teaches jewelry making and metal smithing at Weber State University.
Class is $40/per each 2-hour class. Punch passes are also available: 3 classes for $100. You can pay for the class in person at the store or on our website below. Metal and stones are extra and can be brought from home or bought at the store at the time of class.
