Craft Lake City Workshop (21+): Relief Printmaking

About the Workshop:
Join local printmaker Maja Ira to learn the ins and outs of relief printing! Attendees will carve geometric patterns onto a print block, which they will then cut into 8 triangles & arrange into eye-catching, modern collages. This project is designed to allow each participant the artistic freedom to create their unique piece of art, as there are numerous possible ways to position the triangles together! Included in the purchase price of the workshop ticket, attendees will enjoy a signature cocktail (or non-alcoholic mocktail!) at Alibi Bar & Place inspired by this specific workshop, handcrafted with care by Alibi’s talented bartenders. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to purchase additional beverages during the class if they so choose. This workshop is a 21+ event. No printmaking experience is required, & all supplies are provided for this class.

About the Instructor:
maja ira [maya e-ra]
Self-taught printmaker, snowboarder, interior designer, and artist. I mostly find inspiration in local architecture, so to honor that, this relief print class is inspired by the architectural details of the Alibi Bar in a form of an abstract collage.
