AN OUTDOOR OASIS IN AN URBAN SETTING
We scoured the entire Wasatch mountain range to find the perfect forested outdoor location not far from Utah’s largest metropolitan areas. Originally settled as a trading fort in the 1840s, Fort Buenaventura Park is an 84-acre green space peppered with 100-foot-tall cottonwood trees, not to mention the legendary Weber River, a Blue Ribbon fishery. It’s also just a quarter-mile from historic downtown Ogden and 35 miles north of Salt Lake City.
