Join us for a great 2-day camp for teenagers to make their own jewelry. It is for kids ages 8+. Class size is limited to 6 students.

Students will make: copper dog tag/pendant, a copper ring. and a leather bracelet with a copper coin designed by the student.  Students will be able to stamp words, dates or symbols on their jewelry. For students that have taken his class before, different projects will be given to them.

$69 for the camp. Cost includes all materials.

At the end of the 2nd day, parents will be invited to come and see all the jewelry that the student has made.

Dates: Session 1: June 3 & 4, Session 2: June 10 & 11, and Session 3 June 27 & 28,

All session are from 10:00-11:30am and are held at The Local Artisan Collective at 2371 Kiesel Ave, Ogden.

This class will be taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World.
