Summer Camp: Galactic Explorers

An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, repeating until August 3, 2018

For children entering 3rd grade or 4th grade. This half-day camp will be held at The Leonardo and will be taught by Clark Planetarium staff.

How do scientists explore the universe? We’ll find out through hands on activities and projects! Campers will design a spacesuit, create and launch their own spacecraft, learn what it takes to hunt for alien life on exotic worlds and more!
Make it a full day camp by also registering for “In a Galaxy Far Far Away,” taught by The Leonardo’s staff. More information located here!

Cancellations made more than two weeks before the start of camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the start of camp are not eligible for a refund. You may transfer to another camp session if the request is made at least two weeks before the start of both camps (subject to availability). Contact the Summer Camp Coordinator with your child’s name and camp information at camps@theleonardo.org to request a cancellation or transfer.
