Three Creeks Confluence Community Celebration

January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 AM

FREE

Join the Seven Canyons Trust to assist in constructing the Three Creeks Wayfinding Installation and celebrate with the Glendale neighborhood! In partnership with the Jordan River Commission, Salt Lake City Arts Council, the Center for the Living City, ArtsBridge America, and the Glendale Community Council, the Seven Canyons Trust is constructing an installation at 1300 South 800 West to: (1) represent the three creeks – Red Butte, Emigration, and Parley’s Creeks – that flow underneath the site; and (2) to provide wayfinding to the Three Creeks Confluence, a block to the west of the site. This open space area, where 1300 South and California Avenue diverge, is the visual gateway to Glendale neighborhood. Come assist a local artist with the construction of the installation and become an activist for your local hydrology!
