Kicked off the night at Lit Lounge, with a set from my absolute favorite Venezuelan electro bass audio/visual trio Todosantos. Great new songs, but a paltry venue for low-end heavy dance music. Pants-rattling bass at polite volume levels leaves a little to be desired, but they did their best and are definitely a band to keep an eye on.

The Fully Fitted showcase at the Annex was next. Fully Fitted is a crew composed of lots of Spank Rock associates: Eli Escobar, Pase Rock, Amanda Blank, MC Spank Rock (Naeem, the Spank Rock frontman.. somehow they're a group of like 5 dudes but also this one guy), XXXchange, Chris Devlin, Ronnie Darko et al. The basement was a cramped mess all night long so I wasn't down there too much; the performances upstairs were all pretty solid, slightly throwback and slightly new. And Amanda Blank needs to put out that album already. Whenever it surfaces, odds are it'll be worth the wait.
