Sonny Vincent & Spite = Barrence Whitfield & the Savages + Testors

Blasting out with an all-star cast consisting of Sonny Vincent (Testors), Rat Scabies (The Damned), Steve Mackay (The Stooges) and Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Spiteful is an album that can be described as being a bit rough around the edges.

Instrumentally, this has the making for something great, as it is fast, wild and hard—just as any punk album should be. Unfortunately, while these legends can still knock out a solid sound, lyrically, it’s less than inspiring and leaves much to be desired. If you see it on the shelf, don’t be too impulsive—there might be something else behind it. –Nick Kuzmack
