Audrey Lockie

Audrey Lockie, our Managing Editor and protector of all things SLUGMag.com, is a true treasure within the SLUG staff. Beginning her journey as a Senior Staff Writer before becoming an Editorial Intern and Copy Editor, Audrey’s skill set is prevalent through the myriad ways she enhances our content. Now as the Managing Editor, her main role is to coordinate and post SLUG’s online and print content, as well as handling music reviews and SLUG’s archive content. Other roles include enlightening the staff with experimental music, fun facts about what is currently playing at the Tower Theatre and passionate conversation on topics like what she learned digging through SLUG’s old archive. As a performing musician, Lockie values SLUG’s connection and engagement with the community and believes that “the organization’s genuineness within the SLC creative community is, to me, practically unparalleled.”
