SIZE QUEEN: ARTISTIC MEDIUMS BY UTAH DRAG ARTISTS AN 801 SALON EVENT AT SALT LAKE ACTING COMPANY
801 Salon, a local arts nonprofit, presents SIZE QUEEN, an exploration of artistic mediums by Utah drag artists. The show will take place on Friday, January 23 and 24, 2026 from 6-9 pm, presented by 801 Salon, at Salt Lake Acting Company in collaboration with their Making Space for Artists Program.
SIZE QUEEN is A LARGER than life, evening LENGTH drag variety show- highlighting the many facets and DEPTH of drag performers within the TIGHT knit Utah art community. Get ready SMALL Lake City for a unique drag show, stuffed full of different MEDIUMS, that is sure to have a BIG impact!
The show opens with an exhibition pre-show at 6 pm, followed by a MainStage performance at 7 pm. The night will end with “The Afters,”beginning around 8 pm. Size Queen is co-directed by Nancy Raygun and Katie, Party of 2. The exhibit and performance feature local drag artists, including April Flowers, Mari Cona, Lady Facade, SMILEY, Lorem Ipsum, Sequoia, Daddy the Clown, Gaye, Ms. Meredith, Nicholas Gibas, Mercury Faux, Rovie Wade, Cvntcealed Carrie, Judas Rose, Hysteria,and Cliff Swallows.
“SIZE QUEEN puts the art of drag center stage,” says 801 Salon Director, Roxanne Gray. “We’re excited to invite the community to witness the incredibly creative and vibrant work of our local drag community.”
Katie, Party of 2 (she/her) is a Salt Lake City drag artist who has been performing in nightlife since 2016—first as a backup dancer/choreographer and as a drag performer since 2022. She’s a stage manager by day and enjoys creating sapphic performances for audiences in Utah.
Nancy Raygun (she/her) is a Salt Lake City drag queen and the current reigning Miss Gay Utah. She is a middle school English teacher and loves delivering unique and creative performances.
801 Salon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making art accessible to the community. They produce multidisciplinary pop-up art exhibits and performances around Salt Lake City, providing a platform for local artists to show their work.
