Public Town Hall for Democratic candidates for Congress from Utah’s new District 1
On Monday, March 9, 2026 from 6:30 – 8:45 p.m., the 71 Percent Coalition and Black Lives Matter (Utah Chapter) will host a public Town Hall for the eight Democratic Party candidates for Congress from Utah’s new District 1. The Town Hall will be conducted along the lines of a presidential debate. Six of the eight Democratic congressional candidates have already confirmed that they will attend. All eight have been invited. The event will be held at the Salt Lake City Public Library main downtown branch (210 East 400 South, SLC 84111) in the Auditorium.
