Aaron Foster “Mostly Jokes” Stand Up Comedy

Aaron Foster never imagined the best way to manage his depression, anxiety and grief would be by telling jokes about it, but his darkly funny stand-up show, “Mostly Jokes,” that one reviewer called “subversively hilarious,” has helped him, and others, find light in very dark places. It’s mostly jokes… mostly.

The show: Growing up with a bipolar father and a schizophrenic older brother left Aaron Foster with a combination of survivor’s guilt, depression and anxiety that has invalidated his every accomplishment, destroyed his every relationship and invaded his every waking thought. A comedy! Foster has performed the show more than 80 times all over the US and Canada and plans to tape it as his first special in November.

Foster is the former host of HGTV’s FreeStyle and has been touring “Mostly Jokes” around the US and Canada for nearly two years and over 70 cities.
