Sensory-Friendly Concert Featuring Josh Kelley and School of Rock
Bridgeway Connections, a Utah-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and neurodivergent needs, is hosting a free, sensory-friendly concert on Monday, July 13, from 6:30–8:30 PM at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. The family-friendly event will feature singer-songwriter Josh Kelley, School of Rock, and emcee Eric Casper, known for his appearance on Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum.
The concert is designed with accommodations that allow those with sensory sensitivities to enjoy live music in a comfortable environment. Accommodations include reduced sound levels, adjusted lighting, designated quiet and sensory-break spaces, and an open atmosphere that allows attendees to step away as needed throughout the performance.
Kelley, a singer songwriter known for hits including “Amazing” and “Only You,” will headline the evening. Food trucks and community vendors will also be available. An opportunity drawing will be held during the event, with prizes including four tickets to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Hale Center Theatre and two lift tickets to Snowbird Ski Resort.
The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
