Join us on December 15th at 6pm at Brewvies Cinema Pub (Salt Lake City) for a one-night audio/visual experience featuring three new releases from local electronic musicians—each presented with its own full-length 3D fractal film on the big screen.
This special evening showcases:
Interoception
A long-form improvisation by Jon Philpott (Bansuri), Robert Ainsworth (guitar), and Ed Brock (modular synth). Ambient landscapes, Berlin-school arpeggios, and flute melodies drift through immersive fractal worlds.
No One Belongs Here More Than You
A retro-futuristic, free-form jam session with members of the SLC Synth Alliance, built from an afternoon of chaos on three of the largest hand-built modular synthesizers in existence. Set to trippy fractal visuals layered with vintage sci-fi footage from the 50s and 60s.
Dream Variations Vol. 2
A brand new 12-artist ambient compilation created by members of the SLC Synth Alliance, featuring a wide range of instrumentation and approaches to deep listening.
(Volume 1 was released in 2024.)
Two of the releases were created using one of the world’s largest hand-built modular systems, built by Ed Brock, who also created all the 3D fractal films for the night.
Expect ambient soundscapes, experimental electronics, analog improvisation, and full-room visual immersion.
