Helping Hand Gala Benefiting Utah Youth Village
This special evening brings together community leaders, businesses, and supporters who share a commitment to strengthening children and families across Utah through conversations, live and silent auctions and a guest speaker.
Each year, Utah Youth Village presents the Helping Hand Award to an individual who has made a lasting impact on the lives of Utah’s youth and families. In 2026, we are honored to recognize Utah’s First Lady, Abby Cox, for her “Show Up” initiative and her dedication to emotional self-reliance, foster care, service, and opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities.
Through her Show Up Utah initiative, Cox has encouraged Utahns to become more engaged in their communities and to “show up” for one another. Her work on behalf of children and families – particularly youth and families involved in foster care – closely aligns with Utah Youth Village’s mission to strengthen families and help children thrive.
All proceeds from the Gala directly support the children, youth, and families served by Utah Youth Village through programs that help families stay together, prevent children from entering foster care or the juvenile justice system, and create safe, stable home environments where children can thrive. We truly believe that when we help one child, we help generations to come.
