SLUG Cat is an annual bicycle race hosted by SLUG Magazine to celebrate the biking community vital to Salt Lake City. SLUG Cat is not just a race, but a scavenger hunt on two wheels. There will be food, music, games and prizes. Whether you’re still on training wheels or have been cycling for years, this is an event no local rider can miss. The fourteenth annual SLUG Cat will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. It will kick off in the Artspace City Center parking lot at 230 S 500 W, Salt Lake City. Registration is from 4-5 p.m., and the event is from 5-7 p.m. Awards will be at 7:30 p.m. at the SLUG HQ, and an afterparty will start at 8. Register here!
