Lights performing at The Metro Music Hall in Salt Lake City.

Lights @ Metro Music Hall 02.24.2026

Concert

Lights brought her signature manic pop thunder to Metro Music Hall in Salt Lake City on Feb. 24 during the COME GET YOUR GIRL tour, transforming the intimate venue into a pulsing, euphoric playground. The show exploded open with the bold, infectious title track “COME GET YOUR GIRL,” instantly setting a high-octane tone that masterfully wove her latest era’s fresh material with timeless fan favorites.

She charged through highlights like “River,” “GHOST GIRL ON FIRST,” “Running with the Boys,” “THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR” and a nostalgic medley of “Timing Is Everything / Flux and Flow / We Were Here.” The crowd lost it for “Love Me,” “Batshit,” “FINAL ROUND,” “PIRANHA,” “LEARNING TO LET GO,” and “Toes,” as her synth-drenched production and commanding stage presence flooded the room. Her vocals soared with effortless range — from raw, introspective vulnerability to explosive anthems — while her playful crowd interactions kept the vibe electric and deeply personal.

The smaller space amplified everything, from lights flashing in perfect sync with the beats to fans singing along word-for-word, forging a tight-knit, almost electric connection. Having photographed her since 2009 at Warped Tour (right around those early, sun-drenched festival sets tied to The Listening), I’ve watched her journey unfold through my lens: from raw, wide-eyed energy on outdoor stages to this poised, fearless performer who commands every inch of the room. The evolution is undeniable — sharper production, bolder visuals, deeper emotional range — and it all feels like a triumphant arrival.

Lights never disappoints; she consistently delivers that same unfiltered spark that hooked us years ago, only now it burns brighter, more confident, more alive. This wasn’t just a concert, but a vibrant, cathartic celebration of her artistry, her growth and the unbreakable bond with her fans: pure, unfiltered magic. —Brent Landes
