On the 2nd of April, I attended and photographed the Redbull Shlittentag, homemade sled building/ sled race competition at Canyons Resort in Park City, UT.   Schlittentag is the German word for “sledding day”. Put simply, it translates as “daredevils willing to propel themselves down a snow-covered hill and over a jump on a sled they built themselves”. The name of the game was the fastest, coolest and most stylish sled to hit the bottom first with the hugest air would take home to win. The theme of the afternoon was inibriation and a serious show of stupidity or bravery, it was hard to tell.  Photographer: Max Lowe
