Bad Luck Brigade is a five-member band from Logan, Utah. Their first EP ANYTHING IN MODERATION, was released in 2022 and the group found local success, playing shows in Salt Lake, Provo and of course their home town. They released a second EP in 2023, EVERYTHING’S A FUCKING MESS, and thus began a succession of conceptual releases. In this episode, the band talks through some of their addictions that inspired the rap lyrics in the music and what it was like watching each other struggle through them. Plus, they define their jazzy hip-hop sound and discuss some of the technicalities they’ve discovered together.
