Alek Wiltbank

As SLUG’s Front-end Developer, Alek Wiltbank makes sure that SLUGMag.com is functional, usable and aesthetically pleasing. From changing the layout of our music reviews to helping implement an LGBTQ+ section on our main menu, Wiltbank is to thank for most of the upkeep and design changes since August 2023. If everything’s going well, you probably won’t notice his contributions at all as the nature of web development is fixing and streamlining so that the user experience is smooth as can be. Having played in multiple bands in his younger years and now currently helming the creative group Bumpy Soup, Wiltbank has been an active participant in the music and arts scene in St. George, and SLUG is thankful for Wiltbank’s insight into Southern Utah counterculture.
