Load In Volunteer- Sat. 9am-11:30-, 11:30-2, (8 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
This volunteer will help kick off this year’s SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery by working along with the production team to set up the event. This position requires being outside in the summer heat, is physically intensive, and great for those looking for a workout!
Zone Manager Assistant- 9:30am-12:30 (3 Volunteers) 21+ only position
As a form of customer service, this volunteer will assist Zone Managers in taking care of the participant’s needs, floating around the festival and being an extra set of hands/point of contact for participants. This position requires being outside in the summer heat, is physically intensive, and great for those looking for a workout!
Beverage Coordinator Volunteer- 11:30am-3:30, 3:30-7:30 (2 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
They assist the Beverage Control Manager in checking out brands and ice for breweries and distilleries. This position requires being outside in the summer heat, is physically intensive, and great for those looking for a workout!
Gaming Zone Volunteer- 1:45pm-4:30,4:30-7:15 (3 per shift) Can be all-ages
Will be stationed in the Game Area to set up cornhole and other games with people who come to enjoy Brewstillery. Available to answer questions for participants and provide a positive atmosphere. This volunteer position requires being outside in the summer heat, and is a fun experience to do with two friends!
Main Gate Volunteer- 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm, (6 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
Will assist Gate Cashiers by adding extra tokens to mugs as they are requested by guests & passing them to the guest. May also help in stamping hands for re-entry purposes. This volunteer position requires being outside in the summer heat, and is fun to do with a friend!
Production Volunteer- 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm, (6 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
Will help the production team run product and ice to the brewstillery as they need it. They will serve as extra hands/escorts to help us navigate the crowd and discourage bad behavior from attendees. This position requires being outside in the summer heat, is physically intensive, and great for those looking for a workout!
Token Booth Volunteer- 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm, (2 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
Will assist cashiers at the token booth, counting out tokens as they are requested by the guest while the cashier runs the transaction. This volunteer position requires being outside in the summer heat, and is fun to do with a friend!
Wristband Volunteer- 1pm-4pm, 4pm-7pm (4 volunteers per shift) 21+ only position
Will assist ID person in applying wristbands as they check IDs; more importantly, they will be answering questions about the mug/token system & helping direct guests to correct presale/day-of lines to assure lines are moving efficiently. This volunteer position requires being outside in the summer heat, and is fun to do with a friend!
Tear Down Volunteer- 6:30pm-9pm, (8 volunteers) 21+ only position
This volunteer will help bring SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery to a close along with the production team. The shift begins when the event is over to help tear down items tables and booths and help in cleaning up the venue. This position requires being outside in the summer heat, is physically intensive, and great for those looking for a workout!
