The 18th Annual Craft Lake City DIY Festival Presented by Harmons was the biggest DIY Fest to date! This year, the festival featured over 500 local artisans, vintage vendors, foodies, youth entrepreneurs, performers and STEM exhibitors. It was a packed, three-day schedule that boasted something for everyone.

On Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM, attendees could visit Kid Row, Craft Lake City‘s special area showcasing entrepreneurs and makers 18 and under. The area was open all weekend with plenty of fun for every member of the family from inflatables, to face painting and hands-on crafts.

Performers like AishaZcello, Diana Lone, Runestomper and Mariachi Fuego took over three stages, keeping attendees entertained all weekend long. Guests looking for a bite to-go, along with the entertainment had plenty to choose from. There was craft food like DOYOUNG KIMCHI, Drift Chocolates and Chunky Cookies as well as food trucks such as Crak’n a Cup Ethiopian Coffee and The Happy Chick.

The GFiber STEM Building hosted exhibitors ready to educate like Central Utah Water Conservancy District and Code Gets Creative. There were also plenty of vendors to shop through, all offering a wide range of goods and artwork. Looking for original plush dolls or 3D-printed accessories? SCHNABBIT had you covered. More into home goods? Incense Witch had everything needed to refresh your space. There was also Longhand offering refillable journals in full-grain, vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather. Summer Buckshaw, artist of this month’s SLUG cover, was also there showcasing her art pieces and screenprints! Attendees left with smiles on their faces and tote bags full of goodies.
