Chase Mill

Chase Mill

The Chase Mill is Utah’s oldest industrial building, built in 1852 by a man named Isaac Chase. He was the Father-in-Law of Brigham Young and they shared the business of the grist mill together. After some time Brigham Young took over the business and the property hence the B and Y on the front of the building. Eventually, Brigham donated the land to the city and it became what it is today Liberty Park.
