Faz Waltz = Slade + Giuda + Taxi

Flip the switch and dig this: Faz Waltz’s Move Over is sincere rock n’ roll in the vein of 1970s junk-shop glam and it flawlessly preaches typical adolescent rebellion as in “Crazy Little Fun” and “Back In Town.” All the while, Move Over holds on to true youthful idealism with numbers like “We’re All We Got.” Move Over indeed possesses the nostalgic quality of solid 1970s glam, inspired by bands like Slade and The Rubettes, but perhaps more importantly, this translates that unending energetic punch into something contemporary, much like what other groups like Giuda and Prima Donna are producing now. Be sure to find this album and spin it. –Nick Kuzmack
