David Quiñones is a bartender at Purgatory, a bar and restaurant in SLC.
Big thanks to Purgatory for hosting this month’s “SLUG Style” in their beautiful space.
Every month, “SLUG Style” features a distinct and unique member of the community and asks them why they do what they do. Exploring more than just clothing, “SLUG Style” is an attempt to feature the people who give Salt Lake City flavor through personality and panache.

!["Over the years, I've collected a lot of hobbies—riding motorcycles [among them]," says Quinones. "I was riding a Dyna, but then I found myself not riding anymore. So I sold it. But I was riding a really nice Dyna, 2008, Super Glide. And it was fun. But then over the years, I've also done some hunting and then realized that that wasn't for me. I've done everything from gold panning to fishing to camping, which I still do a lot."](https://www.slugmag.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/SLUG-Style-David-Quinones-2-266x400.jpg)
