Love In America by Bachelors

Local Music Reviews

A lot is being said about this being the first CD by a local band. This is indeed pretty cool. Unfortunately, the material isn’t. The musicianship is excellent, but the songs are for the most part a general grab-bag of every ‘80s pop idiom. Trite, tame and remarkably thin sounding, it should be very popular. You can take the band out of the bar, but you can’t take the bar out of the band.
