Rezolution skateboards and a copy of SLUG Magazine's 15 Year Anniversary Issue.

Over the fourth of July holiday weekend in Salt Lake, I could have seen a hobbit on turntables, LARPing at the Salt Palace or even the new Jonah Hill movie. Instead, I jumped at the chance to help support a cause that is close to my heart—substance abuse prevention. Gravytrain on Biscuit Wheels: Blue Plate Diner Video Premiere 08.17 @ Urban Lounge

Punk Rock Summer Nationals 2014 @ The Complex 08.26 with Stiff Little Fingers, The Offspring, Bad Religion, Pennywise

In the last year alone, Salt Lake has been graced by the likes of Adam Ant, Screeching Weasel—via the SLC Punk 2 film—and even Black Flag. Of course attending these gigs provides a hefty dent in the wallet, but it’s arguably worth the nostalgia, or in tonight’s case, a possible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the legendary act, Stiff Little Fingers. … read more
