In 1989, out of a friction of dichotomies, the strong, independent voice of SLUG was born. SLUG has never silenced any viewpoint, and in a world of growing control over independent media, SLUG's stance becomes even more significant. SLUG is proud to be Utah's oldest alternative paper and its prime music and action sports magazine.
SLUG Magazine is a great place to gain experience in the world of writing, magazine publishing, music and advertising. Most positions at SLUG Magazine are volunteer, but we're flexible and opportunities at SLUG can easily be scheduled around school or a day job.
