SLUG Soundwaves is back with another review episode, where listeners can hear our online-exclusive music reviews in audio format, read by the author themself. This week, Editorial Assistant Alton Barnhart reads his review of local hardcore/noise outfit BARBARIAN FAITH HEALER’s AMERICARNAGE. Alton’s uniquely witty and insightful style has left him with many requests for him specifically to review local band’s albums and the same was true for BFH. Their label reached out to us after Alton reviewed ARCHAIC FUTURISTS‘ AN EXERCISE IN HUMAN ERROR. Full of aggressive noise rock and samples from political speeches, AMERICARNAGE is a lot to take in. Listen to what Alton thinks of this highly charged album!
