SLUG’s Blue Dress Birthday Bash @ The Woodshed
SLUG Magazine celebrated its 23rd anniversary with a Blue Dress Birthday Bash at the Woodshed on Friday, February 17, 2012. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefited the Homeless Youth Resource Center, which will receive a donation from the nights cover charge and from blue dresses sold at the door. Sponsors included Pabst Blue Ribbon and the Consignment Circuit.

Bonnevillains Fletcher Booth and Patrick Carter adopted “Baby” Dave Clemens from Bloody Knuckles just in time for the grand opening of Salt Lake’s newest chop shop on 1185 S. 300 West – Bonnevillains Speed and Custom. This new space includes Braxton Brandenburg’s classic Barber Shop and a Bonnevillains retail area.

Palace of Buddies, God’s Revolver, and DJ Godina dawn their best blue dress and take over the stage to entertain throughout the night.
A blue dress is mandatory for entry, for both guys and girls. So guys, take a few notes from these dudes who know exactly how to rock a dress no matter how long or short.

The band has performed on Carson Daly’s show, has opened arena shows in England, has been selected as iTunes’ Single of the Week. After a busy summer that included the Lollapalooza, Sasquatch!, and Outside Lands festivals and a high-profile slot opening for fellow Portlanders the Decemberists on select dates, Blind Pilot is embarking on a national headlining tour to support their magnanimous debut, 3 Rounds and a Sound, released last year on Expunged Records.
