Spoon w/ Geese @ The Complex 05.25

Austin TX alternative, experimental rock band Spoon—just off of their newest album release, “Satan on the Sofa”—headlined a live show in downtown Salt Lake City at The Complex on May 25. Accompanying them as support for this stop was the Brooklyn based, just out of high school, fresh-faced rock group Geese, who were a bit old fashioned, a bit psychedelic and with some 2000s rock revival influenced bits. Both groups brought a welcome addition to the live music event platter available in the area this year, visibly enjoyed playing on stage in this spring show on a cool evening in this desert state capitol city to a great, energetic and appreciative all-ages crowd.
