Donald Glover is Childish Gambino
April 19 I drove on down to The Complex to catch the Donald Glover (the famed comedian) and Childish Gambino (the hip hop star) show. I got to the venue briefly before the show started, and the floor was so packed I had to watch the show from the balcony. Donald Glover started off the evening with a little freestyle comedy, and transitioned into music with a skit in which he was visited by future Donald had he not played music, and future Donald if he had. Neither had much of anything positive to say, but he decided to go on with his show anyway. It was a good call because he brought down the house.

Red Bull Chariot Races, Logan UT.
I drove all the way out to Logan, Utah on April 18 to attend and document the Red Bull Chariot races at Utah State University. The rules were pretty straight forward: construct a chariot to the best of your team’s ability from scratch, then two people pull the contraption with one person riding around a haybale course. The winner is the first across the finish line. It was elimination rounds with the final two teams competing for a trip to the Red Bull nationals of chariot racing, and second and third recieving Red Bull sponsored parties. Studemus Alumnus took first with Bare Minimus taking second, and the Hood Romping Hellions brought it in with third.
